Val kulture (The Culture Wave) association was founded to promote, develop and advance culture and art, and values such as democracy, coexistence, human rights, and multiculturalism in the society.

The activities of Val kulture include the organization of cultural and art events (concerts, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, lectures and other activities and programs with the goal of presenting different cultures of the world and promoting the values of multiculturalism, interculturalism, coexistence, and human rights).

Project that Rovinj can take much pride in is Kultfest - Festival of Cultures.
The basic idea and meaning of Kultfest is to be the meeting point of different cultures, which can show the universality in diversity through top artistic expressions.
