The project that the city of Rovinj takes much pride in is Kultfest - festival of cultures. The basic idea and meaning behind Kultfest is the gathering of different cultures in one place, where they can show the universality in their diversity, through top class artistic expressions.
Kultfest is held in Rovinj and its program promotes openness, coexistence and multiculturalism in Istria, as well as Rovinj as a bilingual city. Throughout the years, this amazing world music spectacle helped raising the people's interest in unusual contacts with artists coming from different cultures, which is the underlying mission of Kultfest.
All Kultfest artists are delighted by the great audience and the beauty of Rovinj, and all of us that already started thinking about the next Kultfest can only seek to prepare new surprises for this summer, in new colors and rhythms from all over the world.
We hope this festival of cultures will become even more important cultural and social event, for the city and the region, and for Croatia.
