Roy Paci and his band Aretuska are something completely different from anything you ever heard.
Paci is world famous trumpeter, composer and score writer, born in 1969 in Sicily. He entered the world of music at the age of 10, and already by 13 he became the first trumpet of Sicily's best big bands, Hot Jazz Orchestra and New Royal Big Band . He worked and appeared on stage with many great names of the world music scene and was involved in approximately 300 releases of various music genres.

Manu Chao, one of the greatest bands today, conquered the world in 2001 with the best and wildest tour of the year - Radio Bemba. On each of 100 concerts on the tour, it was Roy Paci who made masses of people hop with his trumpet. The range of sounds that Paci produced in his many projects in the 25-year musical career included classic jazz, ethno, alternative pop, rock, and electronic music.

With the band Aretuska he recorded 3 albums with tracks combining rock, soul, funk and ska with the Mediterranean tunes. MTV played two videos from the band's 2003 album for a long time.
